Computer Stress Management
This eBook "Computer Stress Management"
is only available as part of this eBook
Library.
Computer stress can cause many health conditions
from Sinusitis to Tinea
Computer stress developed through long hours at the computer
and incorrect positioning of the monitor, keyboard or chair
include:-
Sinusitis, itchy eyes, headache, short term memory difficulties,
carpal tunnel, RSI, nervousness, high blood pressure, lymph
congestion, tight shoulder muscles, sore lower back, excessive
tension in the small intestine, excessive tension of the
rectum and descending colon, agitation of the muscles around
the coccyx, squashing of the sciatic nerve and sciatic nerve
induced Tinea.
Certain duties can also cause burnout in
certain areas of the brain
Psychological studies show that the two sides of the brain
are exercises by performing two specific duties at the computer
and when one side of the brain is continually overworked
through constantly performing one particular duty, certain
health problems can be encouraged. Once you learn how to
avoid this particular pitfall, you can avoid computer-induced
fatigue, sleeplessness, anxiety, mood swings, depression
and hormonal stress reactions.
Some of the explanations detailed in this
eBook:
- The best positioning for your monitor, keyboard and chair
to minimize computer stress.
- Background settings that help to avoid peripheral eye
strain.
- The amount of computer work hours we recommend to be safe
to avoid eye muscle fatigue, respiratory inefficiency, high
blood pressure, poor lymph circulation, RSI and computer
anxiety.
- A 17-point stress management checklist, for setting up
and operating your computer to ensure you avoid "all"
aspects of computer stress while maximizing your work time
and your work enjoyment.
- 4 stress tests you can test yourself with, to check if
you are being effected by computer stress. These are tests
you can use in the future to keep monitoring "personal"
stress reactions.
- Dietary factors that will encourage mental and physical
efficiency at the computer and minimize RSI and carpal tunnel,
and herbs and supplements you can use to maximize your computer
memory concentration skills and your computer stress management
efficiency.
Every computer operator should have my 17-point
computer stress management checklist next to their computer
If you follow the 17-points checklist supplied in this stress
management book, you can spend many hours at your computer
and achieve the best results whilst you maintain your true
mental and physical vitality. Once you read these simple to
follow steps and the case histories of people I have treated
for serious computer stress reactions, you will realize the
importance of protecting yourself against these obvious and
some not-so-obvious pitfalls.
