A Message to Oprah Winfrey
While browsing through the July edition of
the Australian Womans Day I discovered a story about
Oprah Winfrey being diagnosed with a condition the drug
companies have named "pre-diabetes".
As I perused this story I noticed, the primary
cause of diabetes, or pre-diabetes, was not explained and
some very important stress factors about elevated blood
sugar levels and body weight were also not offered, to help
diabetics understand the progressive stress response that
creates diabetes. Most importantly, nothing was mentioned
about what diabetics can do to overcome the actual
cause, to eliminate the disorder completely, a result I
have helped many diabetics achieve.
The major risk factors of excessive body weight,
an inactive lifestyle and family history of diabetes were
discussed and how Oprah was constantly feeling tired, but
not the actual facts that would help diabetics reclaim pancreatic
efficiency.
Because I also experienced the symptoms of
pre-diabetes in adolescence as an epileptic and can describe
to a tee, exactly how I developed these symptoms and more
importantly, the approach that allowed me to overcome them,
I decided to write this following message hoping it would
reach Oprah, to help her know the truth.
I hope the following information will help
all diabetics understand the makeup of their condition and
how to overcome it completely so they can live life abundantly.
You "can" overcome diabetes completely,
by "retraining your system" to function the way
it was designed to function, and it is much easier than
you think.

Dear Oprah,
I would like to offer you medical journal quotes that support
my explanation on how you can overcome diabetes and pre-diabetes
completely, a very basic approach which I have used to help
numerous people achieve "permanent" success.
- Medical research has documented, diabetics have a stressed
nervous system and abnormally low breathing patterns during
sleep. The Medical Annals of Neurology, April 1985, volume
17, book 4, pages 391-395. (One sign that we are in the
deep stage of R.E.M. Healing sleep, is that we make quite
a lot of noise breathing very deeply because the body
uses more oxygen during that R.E.M. Stage of sleep than
when we are awake and active during the day. This extra
oxygen is needed to help hormonal glands such as the pancreas,
manufacture and store hormones for the activities of the
day ahead and if our mind is overactive enough to prevent
this R.E.M. Stage of sleep from eventuating, our body
cant prepare sufficient energy to handle the activities
of the day ahead. It is this mind overactivity and lack
of R.E.M. Sleep that causes pre-diabetics and diabetics
to experience the fatigue you are experiencing. Any medical
anatomy book will confirm this R.E.M. breathing stress
response.)
- Medical research in China revealed that when diabetics
experience stress, their pulse rate, blood pressure and
blood plasma glucose levels rise much higher than the
average person. The Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology,
May 2002, volume 8, book 2, pages 97-99. (The reason for
this abnormal response is, the overactive mind of diabetics
causes their nervous and hormonal systems to remain constantly
on edge and overworked because they are not achieving
the deep relaxed stage of R.E.M. Healing sleep, which
would allow them to replenish hormonal reserves and rebuild
nerve strength.)
- Whilst medical research has confirmed excessive body
weight encourages diabetes and losing weight can help
manage diabetes, excessive body weight is not the primary
cause, it is just another result of the primary cause.
This is evident due to the fact some people who are not
overweight experience diabetes and some overweight diabetics
who lose weight experience no improvement in their diabetic
symptoms, or their improvement is only temporary. When
the battle of the bulge is waged along side the fight
against diabetes both these problems are only confirming,
another hormonal function other than insulin, which works
to distribute body fats, is also not working correctly,
due to an overactive mind, inability to achieve the R.E.M.
Stage of sleep and poor breathing during sleep.

Medical research has revealed, excessive
body fat storage in diabetics is preceded by excessive
release of the stress, anxiety hormone "cortisol",
during sleep, which is caused by an overactive mind and
an inability to cope with lifestyle stress. (The International

60, book 5-B, page 2403.)
If we spend many years living a very fast
lifestyle, and or, we are emotionally drained, we eventually
retrain our unconscious mind and inner nerves, to continually
run at an overactive pace which reduces our breathing capabilities
and inhibits our ability to experience R.E.M. Sleep
This is the primary cause of many conditions
such as pre-diabetes, diabetes, epilepsy, ADD, ADHD, autism
and Parkinsons etc, etc, etc, and the "only"
way to overcome these conditions is for us as individuals,
to work at retraining our system to come back to a normal
inner calm. Then, and only then, can we develop the talents
that we have within us that contribute to our contentment
and that give us a true excitement about the life we live.
