I achieved the impossible
After refusing to accept my epilepsy, I searched diligently,
first for it's cause and then for a way to reverse the cause.
This was a feat which both my doctor and my epilepsy specialist
told me was completely impossible to perform. On the other
hand, several years later I found "several" medical
journals which detailed the "exact" cause and
how to overcome the cause, 3 floors directly above the office
of that same specialist. I gained no animosity towards my
doctor or my specialist because I am aware that it is their
training that is at fault, however my experience supplied
"proof" that through dedication and persistence
we can perform miracles even when it comes down to doing
the impossible. Since those days I have found numerous medical
journal excerpts that explain the cause and how to overcome
many disorders we are told cannot be overcome.
Our obstacles of life present our greatest
opportunities for personal development
These traumatic years of my youth are the years I now treasure
the most as they encouraged me to develop my powers of positive
focus and determination, which eventually revealed my true
potential. These events also led me to the understanding
that weak lungs and lack of oxygen in the body was not only
the cause for the epilepsy, bronchitis and the allergies
I experienced, but it is one of the main factor in all naturally
provoked health problems. While reading up on anatomy and
physiology to learn about my epilepsy, I came across a medical
article on how oxygen regulates all brain reactions and
as a result, I began to search for ways to improve my lungs.
I focused on people who had already achieved
the success I was looking for
After getting over those normal "feeling sorry for
myself" mood swings, I began to read little articles
about visualization written by Percy Cerutty, Chuck Sipes,
John Citron and Frank Sinatra. Frank Sinatra, who was renowned
for holding the longest singing note once explained, he
developed his lung efficiency through visualization which
he learned from Japanese pearl divers. John Citron was a
famous body builder who began training due to health problems
and he also used visualization to develop enough lung strength
to blow hot water bottles up until they burst. Chuck Sipes
was another body builder who used visualization to help
him develop enough physical strength to tie a half-inch
steel bar into a knot. I used these four people as distant
mentors to perpetuate my intended victory over epilepsy
and my desire to overcome all the weaknesses of my body.
I was 50 years of age when the photos at
the top of this page were taken
Even though I am now in my fifties, I still have the potential
to carry out these feats which were the focal point that
shone the light of encouragement for my impending victory.
It is very important for us all to understand, our goals
and our positive thoughts and exciting challenges, control
the aging of our body and if we keep believing in our potential,
we will continue to enjoy youthfulness.
Over and above all the showmanship that may
attach itself to these feats, I learned the importance of
encouraging people to believe in themselves, to focus on
a positive direction in life and to reject all depressing
negative outlooks. The best thing we can do for our youth
and for our own continued happiness, is to choose specific
values and goals to focus on, as it is our focus that determines
the value of our success.
The very first step to success is to believe
in yourself
My real success has absolutely nothing to do with the feats
I perform to attract attention to the seminars I deliver,
it has to do with the life skills I developed which I now
pass on to the teenagers and adults whose attention I gain.
Believe in yourself now, irrespective of what may be in
your past. Focus on good values and specific goals, and
follow the footsteps of people who have walked before you,
into the same success you wish for.
We must have a positive focal point and
strengthening values to experience fulfillment
It is so important for us as adults, to continually enforce
the positive aspects of our true potential and focus on
specific goals that can keep us strengthened, not only physically
and mentally, but spiritually as well. It is also very important
for us to be the guiding lights for our children to follow,
as mentors who teach good values "by example",
to point them towards their true potentials in life ahead.
A detailed story of the exact cause of my
epilepsy, bronchitis and allergies, and the steps I took
to overcome these problems, are explained in my book "Miraculous
Treatments and Testimonies". My 9 principals of success
that have enabled me to
achieve outstanding results in many areas of my life are
well explained
in my book Exceptional
Success.
